TOUR OF THE PRINCES

ARRIVAL AT BOLIVIA. AN ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME. i (British Official Wireless, i (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, February 19. • The Prince of Wales and Prince George received an enthusiastic welcome to Bolivia, when they disembarked at Gusqui this morning. Later the Royal visitors left for Lapas. DECORATED BY PRESIDENT. LA PAZ, February 19. (Received Feb. 20, at 10 p.m.) The Princes arrived here this afternoon. Prince George was slightly affected by the high altitudes passed through on the journey to this mountain city, but the Prince of Wales stood the journey well. Local newspapers dedicated extra editions, partly in English, to the Princes, publishing long articles on Britain’s relations with Bolivia, and greeting the Princes warmly. After their arrival at the palace, the Princes were decorated with the Grand Order of the Condor of the Andes by the President, General Carlos Blanco Galindo. Acclaiming shouts resounded through the streets, where thousands were gathered to watch the arrival of the visitors.
