ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. (Per United Press Association.) ROTORUA, February 18. The annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association was continued to-day. It was decided to hold the next annua] conference at Auckland. It was resolved —“ That we place on record our endorsement of the Prime Minister’s proposals in regard to a 10 per cent, cut in wages and salaries.” Reference was made to the hardship that the Hawke’s Bay newspaper proprietors had suffered as a result of the recent earthquake.
