SHIPPING DISASTER
JAPANESE VESSEL SUNK. MANY PASSENGERS MISSING. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) TOKIO, February 10. The steamer Porthos, when leaving Kobe, collided during a snowstorm with the Kikusui Maru bound for Shanghai. The latter sank, and 49 passengers are missing. The Porthos was not greatly damaged, and returned to Kobe.
