EXCURSION TO THE HEADS.

*•■ V . On Sunday morning 24 members of th* Queen’s Drive Rowing Club made an excursion trip to the Heads by the harbonr steamer Tarewsi. The morning was spent in surf bathing, and a cricket match was played later. This provided plenty of recreation, and Mr W. Leftwitch’s team beat Mr D. Clark’.; team by 68 runs m two innings. The party had a most enjoyable day, although heavy rain fell after the homeward journey was commenced. It is the intention of the club to hold similar outings every Sunday during the rowing season in order to keep the members in close touch with each other.
