REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) ' AUCKLAND, January 25. The weather during the week-end was fine and for the most part sunny. Light rain fell this morning, and the sky Was again overcast toward evening. The barometer Was steady during the weekend at 30.20, but was falling slightly this evening. WELLINGTON, January 25 ; Saturday was overcast and misty, with a light riortherly. A light shower fell in the afternoon. To-day was brilliantly sunny and warm, but the wind had increased considerably. CHRISTCHURCH, January 25. The weather over the week-end has been fine, with a moderate breeze from the north-east yesterday and a light wind from the same quarter to-day, which changed later to the nor’-west, making conditions sultry. There was a fair amount of cloud this afternoon. The barometer has a falling tendency, the present reading being 29.80.
