THE CUNARD COMPANY
CONTRACT FOR NEW LINER. (United Press Association.) , (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 2. (Received Dec. 2, at 11 p.m.) The Cunard Company has signed a contract with John Brown and Co,, of Clydebank, for the construction of the first of two £6,000,000 liners. The construction of the liner, which will provide work for 3000 men, will be begun forthwith.
