TRIALS AT GORE. (Fbom Our Own Correspondent.) _ GORE, May 21. ihe twenty-fifth annual trials of the G.ore Sheep Dog Trials Club were continued at the Gore racecourse to-day under boisterous weather conditions. 1 The driving and yarding competition, which was run the first day, provided some interesting work throughout, and the placed dogs put up very creditable performances. Maid negotiated the/first poles after trouble, and got through the first half of the cross in good style and the second half after the second attempt, ihe dog yarded, and the performance was fairly good throughout. ~ Gyp made a fair drive and negotiated the first'poles. She split the sheep at the cross, but went through the first in fair style. She allowed the sheep to .get away from the cross, but eventually put
