DISASTER IN MISSOURI

Reports from St. Joseph (Missouri) state that three people were killed, eight injured, and thirty buried in the debris following an explosion in the stokehouse at the Armour Packing Company in South St Joseph late to-day. It is believed that'the explosion was caused by an am monia tank bursting. MORE DEATHS REPORTED. ' NEW YORK, May 8. (Received May 9, at 8 p.m.) A message from St. Joseph, Missouri, states that the death roll as the result of the explosion in the stokehouse of the armour packing plant increased to 16 late on Thursday. Nine people are Buffering from injuries.
