ANNUAL MEETINGS. UNION CLUB. The fifty-ninth annual meeting of the-' Union Club was'held in the new pavilion, ■North Ground, last evening. There was an attendance of about CO members, and ■“H H. Harris occupied the chair. The chairman, in moving the adoption oi the annual report and balance sheet, congratulated the club on its-performance during the past season, several of .the teams having the best record they have had for several years. He congratulated the club on having such a fine pavilion w™ cT ?• u a L very ratifying, to see the way in which-the members came forward to assist, m r the erection of the building. Ihe whole of the work was carried out by members in their spare time under the smpervisipn of Mr C.. Green. The plumbing, electrical, and other special work was carried out by various tradesmen in the club.' The members would appreciate the extra space provided for their accommodation.
