(Peb United Press Association.) , it WELLINGTON, February 25. 1 jat we urge our churches to give increased attention to temperance work 5? forming bands of hope and women’s Christian temperance unions, by encouraging the youth moyement against alcohol- by using educational charts, and bV distributing suitable literature showing the evils attending the use of alcohol and the ravages caused by the liquor trade or by using any other moans which thev may deem wise.

In tne terms of the foregoing resolution. which was unanimously carried the Methodist Conference, now sitting in Wellington, expressed its mind on the temperance question.
