ANGLICAN SUNDAY SCHOOLS.

COMBINED PICNIC. The Anglican Sunday schools of Dunedin held a combined picnic on Saturday at Evansdale. about 1200 children taking part. The weather conditions were excellent, and the cihldren experienced a very happy opting. The journey to and from the picnic grounds was made by train. ' ' ' Immediately on arival at Evansdale sports of all kinds were organised, including two cricket matches—Sunday Schools T. Orphanages and Clergy v. Laity. The arrangements were in the hands of a capable committee, headed by Canon Button and the Rev. W. A. Hamblett. The picnic proved so successful that it will probably be made an annual function.
