M.C.C. v. RANGITIKEI. VISITORS BATTING WELL. (Peb United Press Association.) MARTON, January 21. The fourteenth match of the M.C.C. cricket team’s tour was commenced against Kangitikei to-day. The weather was good, but threatening in the afternoon. The attendance was large. The wicket was in splendid order and the outfield fast. The Englishmen won the toss and sent Rangii? The home team made 100 alter a most disastrous start. The visitors commenced their innings at J o clock and had lost two wickets when stumps were drawn at 5.45 on account of tailing light and threatening, rain.
