LOSS OF THE MANUKA.

NAUTICAL INQUIRY. The nautical inquiry concerning the wreck of the Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Manuka at Long Point on the night of December 16, will be opened to-morrow morning in the Magistrate’s Court. Mr H. w. Bundle, S.M, will preside, and the assessors will *be Captain L. Worrall and Captain S Stringer, of Wellington. The Crown solicitor (Mr F. B. Adams) will appear on behalf of the Marine Department Mr A- X. Haggitt will represerit the Union Steam Ship Company, and Captain Boss Clark, who was in command of the Manuka, will be represented by Mr A. C
