A VISITORS IMPRESSIONS.
A well-known business man from Wellington was so fascinated the other day by the wonderful, display of Christmas and New Year goods in the windows of Burtons Bazaar in Oamaru, that he could not resist the desire to inspect more fully the whole of the establishment. The trip through the various departments was a revelation to 'him. for he expressed astonishment at the wonderful stock of Christmas Toys, Fancy Goods, Art Pottery, Brassware. etc., etc., declaring that he had n'ever-’ seen- id the capital city, nor indeed in any other part, of the Dominion, such a varied or comprehensive display. “It is astonishing, he said, “that so. magnificent an exhibition of things the people want can be made in a' provincial town like Oamaru, and Burton’s Bazaar should be a great source of attraction not only to the townspeople, but to visitors during fhe holiday season. The variety of the stock will be a source of delight for young and old. and the task of selecting suitable Christmas gifts ■will be made a real pleasure—a pleasure that will be reflected in the races of hundreds of delighted Christmas shoppers at Burton’s Bazaar during the next few — OO/12/20
