SPORTS AND PASTIMES.
RUGBY LEAGUE. WIN FOR AUSTRALIAN TEAM. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 11. Australia defeated Glamorgan by 38 j-oints to 9. ATHLETIC AND MOTOR CYCLE SPORTS. Record entries have been received for the athletic and motor cycle sports to .be held at Forbury Park to-morrow. Many of the motor cyclists have improved their “cornering,” and it is expected that this will enable them to record increased speeds. In the athletic events, R. O. Johnson, the Otago pole vault champion, will, no doubt, be a strong attraction. The meeting of J. Fogarty, the Otago cycling champion, and H. R, Dwight, of Auckland, will, doubtless, -prove of great interest.
