Mr Walter Nash, the Labour candidate for the Hutt seat, has laid in the Magistrate’s Court at Lower Hutt, an information against the publisher of the Hutt News charging him, under section 102 of the Electoral Act, 1027, with publishing an allegedly untrue and de famatory statement concerning Air Nash, and one calculated to influence the votes of the electors.
