TO THE EDITOR, him, —When the management of the. Octagon Theatre announced the coming of the “superior talkies,” many Dunedin threatregoers were more than interested. At last the installation is complete, and it must be admitted that the new system is a vast improvement on the original equipment, I Reg, however, to suggest, to the management that the omission of the interval is a serious mistake. Picturegoers always look forward to the interval, and many, I am sure, were disappointed at the continuity of Saturday night’s programme—l am. etc., R, K. Dunedin, August ID.
