STREET NUISANCES.

TO ,THE EDITOR. Sir, —The answer to " Suburban Citizen ”• is perfectly simple. Why not have his fences repaired? They are evidently in a very bad state. It is surely a very ■wholesale way of protecting a property to destroy all the dogs in a neighbourhood. As to keeping them oh a chain all day and every day, surely the S.P.C.A. would soon put a stop to that. Moreover, I understand that a very small percentage of dogs have hydatids. I am sure that “ Suburban Citizen’s ” fences constitute more of a street nuisance than the dogs. —I am, etc., ' August 5. Terrier.
