In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Smith made an order increasing to £2 a week .the allowance, made to Mary Brown, aged 79; from the estate of her husband, James Brown, a farmer in the Bush district. ' Petitioner said she had helped to stump and clear; the farm, and had fought a bush fire. She was separated from the testator prior to hfs death. His Honor held that the present allowance was inadequate.
