NAVAL MANOEUVRES

MIMIC BATTLE OFF QUEENSLAND. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 13. The mimic battle waged during the week-end has established the value of combined exercises by the Australian Naval Squadron and the New Zealand light Cruisers. It is reasonably certain that the two squadrons will combine in important manoeuvres each year. Arrangements are already being made for a visit by the Australian thips to the Dominion next year. The Dunedin and the Diomede arc now anchored at Hervey Bay with the Australian ships, and preparations are being made for exercises on land at Fraser Island.
