QUEENSLAND CABINET

STATEMENT ON LAND POLICY. SYSTEM or CLASSIFICATION. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BRISBANE, June 13. The Cabinet, in a statement on its land policy, says that the Government in tends to pass legislation encouraging land settlement, development, and production, and .to restore the freehold tenure to land whore desired. Special encouragement will be given to experienced land men. A system of land classification will also be provided-'with a view to closer settlement.

The dictatorial powers and restrictions imposed by the successive Labour Governments are to be removed.
