OTAGO RUGBY LEAGUE.

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. The weekly meeting of the executive of the Otago Rugly Football League was held last night. The president (Mr T. M. Gillies) the chair. Mr Watson reported that the Chisholm Park ground had been put in proper playing order. An application by Maurice Cameron for a transfer from the Kaikorai Club to the City Club was granted. The president stated that teams travelling to Kaitangata would'ha ve -to leave Dunedin not later than 1...30. The return journey would be commenced not later than G p.m. . Mr E. S. Menzies wrote stating, that as he had been transferred from Auckland to Whangarei. he was compelled to resign his position as delegate from the Otago League on the New Zealand League Council;—-It., was decided • to write to Mr Menzies expressing appreciation of his services. The appointment of another delegate, was held over. Permission was granted to the Kai-, kofai Club to use the Caledonian Ground ; for training purposes. It was decided that referees be instructed. to: enforce the new play-the-ball rule, and that half-backs must roll the'ball into the scrum.'
