. QUEENSTOWN NOTES. {Fhom Oub Owh Cokeebpondent.) QUEENSTOWN. April 26. THE WEATHER. The weather here during the week has been glorious. Every day has been cloudless, with brilliant sunshine. A remarkable thing, too, is the mildness of the atmosphere. There has not been a breath of wind for days, and there is no snow—-not even on the tops at present. This probably accounts for such pleasant conditions. The autumn tints are really most charming, running through the whole gamut of scarlets, browns, and yellows in the oaks, rowan berries, poplars, atd silver beech, which abound : in the town and its environs. No more .delightful time of the year could be chosen for visiting Queenstown than the present season. One wishes that all the world could be at Wakatipu just now enjoying all its unrivalled scenic glories and wonderful climate. RIFLE SHOOTING.
