(Received April 24, at 7 p.m.)’ To prevent the introduction of plague and other diseases the Government has banned imports of fruit and vegetables from Japan, the United States, Caanda, arid New Zealand. Cargoes en route will be subjected to scientific examination. If suspect they will be destroyed or returned.
