(From Oub Own Correspondent.) QUEENSTOWN, April 24. A poll of the ratepayers of the borough was taken to-day on two proposals relating to contemplated improvements. to the town water supply. One sought the sanction to borrow up to £2OOO for the bringing in of Brewery Creek to supple*, ment the existing supply from the One Mile Creek. The other was a proposal to .borrow 'up to £SOO for an extension of the mains, .Out of a roll number ,of 287, 86 votes were cast in favour of the first issue and. 36 against. The second proposal was also carried by 82 votes to 39. . .
