THE DAIRY DIVISION.

BUTTER AND CHEESE. (Per United Press Association.) _ WELLINGTON, January 9. The Dairy Division’s grading figures for the five months ended December, 1026, show an increase for butter of 5,3 per cent., at 43,603 tons, and for cheese an increase of 12.7 per cent., at 30,601 tons, as compared with the corresponding period of the preceding season. Reduced to terms of butter-fat equivalent, the gradings of dairy produce for the fivp months show an increase of 7.41 per cent, over the grading for the corresponding preceding season.
