A programme of merit rendered' by Miss Jimsie Fraser’s concert party was submitted to a large and appreciative audience at the Pine Hill School Hall on Saturday evening. The programme opened with a bagpipe selection by Piper George Yardley. Then followed a vocal solo, “ Arcadian Lullaby,” by Miss Maisie Scofield; sean triubbas, Miss Netty Pullar; recitation, “ The Vicar’s Presentation,” Miss Ernna Newbold; Russian dance, bliss Lola Morrison; vocal solo, “ Scotch Selection,” Sirs H. Bradley; Highland fling, Misses Netty Pullar and Patricia Wilson; recitation, “Bread Crusts,” Miss Maisie Scofield; character song, “Baggv Breeches,” Miss Esme Morrison; sailor’s hornpipe. Misses Netty Pullar and Patricia Wilson; pianoforte solos. Miss Clara Scofield; Harry Lauder’s songs in character, Comedian James Crawford; recitations. Miss Erana Newbold; sword dance, bliss Patricia Wilson; operatic dance, Miss Esma Morrison; .vocal solo “Still as the Night,” Mrs H. Bradley; pianoforte solos, Miss Maisie Scofield; Irish jig. On behalf of the School ( Committee, Mr J, Sprott thanked Miss Fraser and performers for the entertainment.
