AIR RACE DECLINED
NO STUNT FLYING. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, August 28. Captain Kingston! and Lieutenant Ulm have declined the air race across the Tasman. Captain Smith said: “I do not believe in stunt aviation. I would not attempt a flight to New Zealand without a navigator and a radio cxpert.” ... Regarding the proposed Dormer Wal aerial service across the Tasman Captain Smith said: “ I like these boats, but regard the proposal as a little premature. I shall tell you more about it on the completion of our trip to New Zealand.” RETURN TO SYDNEY. SYDNEY, August 28. (Received August 28', at 10.30 p.m.) The Southern Cross landed at Richmond late this afternoon, completing its flight from Perth. Ideal weather was experienced throughout the last stage from Adelaide. ■
