MAIL BAGS ROBBED.
WHOLE OF CONTEXTS STOLEN. (Per United .kess Association.) TAUMARUNUI, July 2. On Saturday evening the mail bags containing the outward mail from Raurimu and Kaitieke were placed in a box on the railway station to be lifted when the express went through at 3 o’clock on Monday morning. The discovery was made yesterday that the mail box had been rifled, the bags being cut open and all the contents stolen.
