OTAGO WINTER SHOW.
The schedules for the forthcoming Winter Show of the Otago A. and P. Society, which have been carefully revised, are now being distributed. Several additional classes have been added, and in many of the sections the prize money has been increased. The usual conditions apply to all export cheese and butter, which have to be placed in the cool stares for six weeks prior to being judged, and when displayed, at the show the cheese and butter should be as near as possible in the same condition as it would be if placed on the London market. Arrangements have been made with the Otago Producers’ Cool Stores to receive the butter and cheese into their stores until the date of the show. In the fruit export section, two cases of apples will be selected by the Government orchard inspector out of consignments leaving this port. This fruit will be placed in cool stores until the date of the show, when it will be judged.
