JOHN M'GLASHAN COLLEGE.

The tenth annual meeting of the John M’Glaslian College was held on Friday evening in First Church Hall. There were present —the Rev. John Kilpatrick (in the chair), the Revs. Dr Merrington, A: C. W. Standage. J. J. Cairney, W. Trotter, and Messrs T. C. Ross, J. M'George, A. M. Cameron, Professor Lawson, Mr Gilray, and the secretary. The principal’s report on the work done in the school and the field, and the various school activities throughout the year was received, and the balance sheet adopted. Mr Kilpatrick was unanimously re-elected chairman for the incoming year, and Mr T. C. Ross vice-chairman. Mr Trotter’s resignation on account of failing health was received, and a, minute in appreciation of Mr Trotter’s services to the college for over 10 years was recorded. The finance, educational, and works and grounds committees were appointed. A motion of appreciation of the work done during the year by Mr Gilray and his staff was passed, and a letter ,of thanks was sent to the Deacons’ Court of First Chinch for the use of a room for committee meetings.
