The identity of the curious personage whose misdeeds are the despair ol Scotland Yard, is so cleverly concealed that it is not until some three minute before the final curtain that ho is un masked —and even after that there are surprises. “ Suspense !” is not melodrama , it is a dramatic comedy, which has earned i the plaudits of the English press and ptl hlic— a play which was a great success because of its unusual treatment, unusual story and extraordinary atmosphere.
