SUNDAY SERVICES.
At First Church to-morrow Dr Mei> rington’s subject in the morning will be “ The Best Testimony.” At the evening service he will preach on “ The Essence of the Gospel.” Dr V, E. Galway will preside at the organ. The Rev. Tulloch Yuille will preach to-morrow in Knox Church, continuing a series of addresses on “ Life’s Difficulties,” with the subject, “ Why Do We Suffer V ” The evening service will be of particular interest to youth workers, and the subject of the address will be “ The Broad-minded Church.” To-morrow morning Mr S. G. MacDonald will preach at the United Congregational Church, and in the 'evening Mr A. E. Stevens will be the speaker. Adjutant Alexander Canty will lead the services at the Salvation Army Fortress on Sunday. Bright ■ singing, pointed addresses are the order of the day. At the evening service the Silver Band will lead the singing and render a selection. Mr* Clarkspn will sing, and the Young People’s Choir of 20 voices will contribute a piece. The Rev. W. Walker will conduct both services in the Octagon Hall of the Central Mission to-morrow. At the evening service the subject will be “ The Reality of God’s Presence.” Mr J. Alexander will sing “ My Task,” and Mr Charles A. Martin will be the organist. The services at Cargill Road Methodist Church will be conducted by the Rev. G. Peterson in the morning and Mr S. G. Macfarlane in the evening. What Christ Does for Men ” will be the sermon topic at the Dundas Street Methodist Church to-morrow evening. The Rev. W. H. Hocking will occupy the pulpit, and the choir will sing “ O Gladsome Light.” The preacher for the morning worship will be Mr C. Aslin. The Rev. E. S. Tuckwell’s subjects at the Hanover Street Baptist Church tomorrow will be “A Fragrant Life ” and “A Magnanimous Creditor.” The Rev. A. Sangster will preach in St. Stephen’s Church to-morrow at both services. Miss L. De Clifford will sing a solo in the evening. The Rev. Sale Harrison will speak in the Caversham Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening on “ The Judgments of Christ; Comparing the Judgment Seat With the Great White Throne.” Mr Peters, who recently returned from the Solomon Islands, will be the preacher in York Place Hall to-morrow evening. The Rev. H. E. Bellhouse will conduct both services in Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, to-morrow, preaching in the morning on “ The Grace of Appreciation, and in the evening on “Character and Circumstances.” ■ The Rev. J. D. Smith has resumed lus ministry at the Kaikorai Presbyterian Church, and will speak to-morrow on topjp cal subjects.
