FIRMS AT PLAY. A team Lorn the D.I.C. met representatives of Hallenstein Bros, this week in a friendly match, the former winning by a comfortable margin. H.B. compiled 86 runs (Hinchcliffe 24. Watson 21) and D.I.C. replied with 98 for nine wickets (Gallian 28, Grimmett 24 not out).
