YOUTH COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE Ter United Press Associ... ion.i BLENHEIM,i February 1. A young man named Edward Hadaway Johnson, aged 21, pleaded guilty to four charges of forgery. It was stated that the accused was a Flock House boy, and had arrived in New Zealand in January, 1925 He worked at Kaiapoi and Upper Awa tere, finally being employed by Mr John Falvey, at Fairhall, Blenheim. He ex traded four cheques from his employer’s book and forged Mr Falvey’s name and cashed the cheques at various shops. The total value of the cheques Was £7O 10s None of the money was left when the accused was arrested. The accused was remanded at the Supreme Court at Wei lingjon for sentence.
