Mr Orr Walker, S.M., gave his reserved judgment in the case in which Bishop and Co., Christchurch, were j charged with failing to place the names | and addresses of purchasers on packages j of liquor sent into a no-liconse area, and in cases in which James Somerville, of | Seafield, and James Sim, of Seafield i Head, were charged with failing to place the name and address on orders. Counsel had contended that “ Ashburton ” was sufficient. i The Magistrate held that such an ad- ! dress was not sufficient. The address inn at. bo a reasonable one, so that liquor 1 could be traced. As this typo of address ; had hitherto been accepted, he would not 1 impose a fine, ordering payment of costs j only.
