The attendance was • fair. The totalisator handled £7222 10s for the day, compared with £8334 last year, and the total for the meeting was £15,401 10s, compared with £17,832 last year. The totalisator handled £9993 10s for the day, as compared with £8998 10s for the second day last year, and £20,088 10s for the meeting, as compared with £18,262 10s last year, an increase of £1825. Burley, owner of Kriesler, by Mr A. G. Colvin, president' of the club. Mr Burley won the same race last year with Trimmer, but no cup was then attached to it, Dave Bennett being tho winning driver on both occasions. WAIMANGAROA HANDICAP.
