NOTE FROM THE MURDERER. THREAT OF ANOTHER OUTRAGE. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Oopyrlgh* ) NEW 7 YORK, December 19. Marjorie Parker, a sister of the_ murdered girl, was threatened with a similar fate at midnight last night in note left o the Hollywood fire box. The note road : “ Parker! For the trouble you have caused Marjorie Parker will, bo the next victim. Nothing can stop ‘ The Fox.’ They who try will know the penalty. If you warn anyone of this second success it will mean your neck. Try and gel me. lam ‘ The Fox.’ You shall never know the real story of the first success. You will miss Marjorie at 12 o clock. (Signed) ‘The Fox.’” The police said that the handwriting was the same as in the previous messages. —A. and N.Z. Cable. CAR USED BY THE MURDERER. STOLEN FROM A PHYSICIAN. NEW YORK, December 19. Los Angeles messages state that an automobile stolen from a physician in Kansas City two months ago, brought to Los Angeles, and equipped with stolen California licenses has been established as the car used by the murderer. It was seized by a garage. Public subscriptions bring the total reward offered for the conviction of the Parker murderer to £15,000. The police refuse to give the name of the arrested suspect, but state that he fits the description of a man who talked to Marian’s teachers. He admits a casual acquaintance with the Parker family.
