CONFERENCE IN GERMANY. NEW ZEALAND CHEMIST’S CLAIM. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, October 5. (Received Oct. 6, at 5.5 p.m.) An international wool conference at Reichenberg, Bohemia, at which Australia is not represented, was opened under the chairmanship of Herr Rudolf Teltscher, vice-president of the German Textile Association. During a discussion on sheep marking, Mr Tuiloch (Bradford) -referred to the claim made by a New Zealand chemist that he had produced a scourable marking agent. This was most important, if true. A discussion on a composite resolution regarding international statistics was adjourned.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
