OPINION OF A SELECTOR. STRONGEST SIDE EVER CHOSEN. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 6. The chairman of the Selection Committee of the All Blacks, Air E. APKenzic, expresses the opinion that the material selected for the African tour is better than that of the 1924 team. He did not think football in New Zealand had 'ever been so strong in forward play, and this team, in his, opinion, was the strongest side that hall represented Now Zealand: and he spoke with personal knowledge of teams as far back as 1893. An emergency had been selected for every position, and the question of advising these players in reserve to study fitness in case of vacancies occurring would be a matter for discussion with the New Zealand Rugby Union, which body would also select the captain and vice-captain.
