ENGLISH TEAM IN BERLIN. WIN AGAINST GERMANS. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ) BERLIN, August 28. Ten thousand spectators enthusiastically witnessed the Achilles Club, the first English athletic team to go to Germany since the war, defeat the Deutsche Sports Club and the Berliner 'Sports Club in a triangular match. TTie respective points scored were 70, 62, and 60. Wightman Smith won the 110 metres with Lord Burleigh second, Lowe the 400 metres, and Stallard the, 800 metres. —A. and N.'Z. Cable.
