(Received May 17, at 10 p.m.) The Liberals, who have been in power in Quebec since 1897, swept the province at the elections on Monday, capturing at least 72 out of the 85 seats, compared with 64 at the time of the dissolution. The Prime Minister, Mr L. A. Taschereau, and the entire Cabinet were re-elected. The Conservatives censured the administration for not awarding special damages to the parents of the victims of the kinema disaster at Montreal.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
