LONDON ENGAGEMENT OFFERED. A PRINCELY SALARY. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, April 20. (Received May 1, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Harry Day (a Labour member of the House of Commons) has cabled to Charlie Chaplain guaranteeing him a salary of' £750 a week for 20 weeks, to take the character of ‘Bunty” in a musical play “The Mountaineers,” which is being produced in September.
