TO THE EDITOB. g IR> As wo shall soon bo receiving our royal visitors, and as no doubt the town will bo decorated as usual. I would like to draw our authorities’ attention to several very bad eyesores which might be improved on. It is desirable that telegraph and electric posts should receive a coat of paint. Some of the shop fronts would do well with a clean down, and so also would that unsightly scat in a prominent position, next the tramway ticket box, which is supposed to bo for ladies only, but is never used by them as it is monopolised by people for whom it was not intended. I would suggest that some of our councillors take a stroll round and see for themselves.— I am. etc., Vacuum.
