PLANS TO DEFEND SHANGHAI. INTERNATIONAL UNIT PROPOSED. (Preaa A sec elation—By Telegraph—Copyright.) SHANGHAI, December 21. It is reported from Peking that plans for the defence of Shanghai & the event of the Red occupation of the district are under consideration by certain legations. A scheme with the object of having 5000 international troops available is mooted. —Sydney Sun Cable.
