Dorothy Sayers, the novelist, expresses the opinion that she may be testing the theory of how long a person might disappear in England. The Daily Mail says that although her disappearance may be due to day somnambulism, it strikingly resembles Mrs Christie’s own romances, in which a favourite trick is to build up an alibi for the criminal prior to committing the crime.—Sydney Sun Cable.
