The Chapter of St. John, in accepting Prince Eitel’s resignation as Grand Master, states: “The chapter is convinced that no shadow of guilt falls on you. Your honour is unstained.” The chapter appointed Prince Eitcl an honorary member. —A. and N.Z. Cable. Prince Eitel Friedrich (the second son of the ex-Kaiser) was requested to resign the Grand Mastership of the Most Aristocratic Order of St. John, on the ground that he was adjudged a guilty party in a recent divorce case. The Grand Masters give the accolades, which, the rules declare, can only be given by persons free of reproach of any kind.
