It was announced on Tuesday that Sir Alan Cobham was about to proceed to New York by the Homeric, taking with him a small Moth seaplane for an American purchaser. When the liner ap- - proaches New York Sir Alan will take a number of mail bags and fly ashore. On. the voyage he will work out the possibility of liners carrying larger aeroplanes for similar purposes.
