MOTOR CAR CASE.

AN ORGANIST’S CLAIM, PRIVILEGED TO PARK CAR. (Peb Unite Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 27. Dr J. C. Bradshaw, organist at the Christchurch Cathedral, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this morning to answer a charge of leaving his motor car unattended. Defendant pleaded guilty, and said he had been in the habit of leaving his car outside the cathedral for the past 15 or 20 years. He contended that those connected with the cathedral should not be interfered with. The matter was now under consideration by the By-laws Committee of the City Council. Defendant was ordered to pay costa.
