SALONIKA CAMPAIGN

BRITISH MEMORIAL UNVEILED. {Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) ATHENS, September 26. General Sir George MacDonogh, in the presence of a distinguished Anglo-Greek company, unveiled at Salonika a war memorial to the British Forces. The monument is a massive pylon 40ft high, erected on Colonial Hill, overlooking Lake Doiran. Wreaths were afterwards laid at the foot of the monument, including two from the King and Queen. —A. and N.Z. Gable.
